Hi Everyone,

Sorry but this is going to be a very quick blog post this week as I am currently enjoying a family vacation.

And, yes I will spend some time working on some of my crafts whilst out here and hopefully I will get some great pictures so I can post some!

Today, I wanted to touch upon the world of amigurumi!

Definition of Amigurumi:

‘Amigurumi (編みぐるみ) is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small stuffed animals and anthropomorphic creatures. The word is derived from a combination of the Japanese words ami, meaning crocheted or knitted, and nuigurumi, meaning stuffed doll. Amigurumi are typically animals, but can include artistic renderings or inanimate objects endowed with anthropomorphic features as is typical in Japanese culture [].’  [Read more on: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amigurumi]

But just for the record: I think they are super cute :)
